Notaries public hold a variety of responsibilities including witnessing signatures, issuing subpoenas, and witnessing the opening of a bank safe, vault, or box. If you wish to become a notary public, you can apply to do so by downloading the form below.

On January 4, 2017 a new law governing standards of conduct for notaries public went into effect. As of that date, all notaries public, regardless of when they received their commission, must comply with Chapter 222 of the General Laws as amended by Chapter 289 of the Acts of 2016.
