Join Waypoint Adventure for a hike at Wompatuck State Park. Waypoint trip-leaders specialize in leading accessible adventure-education programs for youth and adults of all abilities. A small group hike with one of our staff is the perfect way to try an activity for the first time or just get out into nature and experience the serenity of the trail. It's also a great opportunity to meet new friends and socialize. You’ll benefit from our selection of adaptive equipment, receive instruction to meet any learning style, and be encouraged to reach your individual goals.
This program is open to people with disabilities and their families and friends.
You will need for May 9 adaptive hiking at Wompatuck State Park
You will need to pre-register for the program, and meet our essential eligibility criteria for cycling. Cost for the program is flexible based on need. One parent/friend/PCA of program participant with a disability can attend at no charge.
What to bring:
- Helmet (we will bring helmets to the program that you can use if you'd like)
- Water bottle that you attach to your bike or bring in a small backpack
- Small backpack
- Sneakers
- Sunscreen
- Snack
- Lunch for the end of the program
