DCR manages over 50 inland beaches within the Commonwealth's State Park system.
DCR invites you to enjoy the state’s freshwater beaches, which offer many activities.
Note that only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed at DCR beaches and pools. The tag inside the flotation device must say U.S. Coast Guard approved. The user of the approved flotation device must be accompanied by a capable swimmer. Inflatable devices are not allowed. Inflatable Swimmies are not US Coast Guard approved and therefore not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation.
Also, dogs are not allowed on any DCR freshwater beaches between May 1 and Sept. 15, unless otherwise posted.
