What you need

Applications consist of:

  • Application form
  • Cover letter authorizing the applicant to apply for the grant on behalf of the municipality, district, or PWS
  • Project narrative
  • Property maps
  • Appraisal report(s)
  • Conservation Restriction draft (if applicable)

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via EEA’s new Grant Management System. Applications must be submitted before 11:59 pm on Monday, April 13, 2026.

An information session will be held virtually on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 2:30 pm. Please email vanessa.farny@mass.gov to receive a link to the meeting. It is strongly recommended that applicants attend the session.
