Description

This property provides excellent wildlife habitat with uplands surrounded by beaver flowages and wetlands.

Location, access, & parking

Parking is available on Depot Road. See WMA Map.

Note: WMA's are intentionally wild, visitors will find natural landscapes rather than maintained trails.   

Hunting opportunities

Waterfowl and furbearers (including otter, muskrat, mink, beaver, and raccoon) are common in the vicinity of the beaver flowages. Hunting opportunities exist for white-tailed deer, eastern coyote, fox, wild turkey, and squirrel which are common in the uplands.

This WMA is an excellent spot for bird watching. A heronry exists on the WMA.
