About the Commissioner 

Commissioner Robbie Goldstein oversees a public health workforce of over 3,200 and an expansive department comprised of eight bureaus and several offices responsible for a range of programs, including environmental health, infectious diseases, injury prevention, and maternal and child health. The Commissioner chairs the Public Health Council by statute.
