Description

The Provincetown Corridor WMA consists of multiple linear parcels along both sides of Route 6 in Provincetown. This habitat is dominated by pitch pine mixed hardwood uplands as well as areas of shrub swamp and open dunes.

Location, access, & parking

There are no formal parking areas or access points. Some limited access may be gained by roadside pull-offs or by accessing the WMA through other protected lands which are part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. See WMA map.

Note: WMAs are intentionally wild, visitors will find natural landscapes rather than maintained trails.

This WMA area contains a small portion of the far western shore of Pilgrim Lake and the eastern half of Duck Pond both of which contain warmwater fish.
