Description

Quisset WMA contains mixed hardwood and conifer forests. This property is bordered by Quisset WCE owned by the town of Mendon and open space to the north. Quisset Brook bisects the management area.

Location, access, & parking

There is a parking area located near the end of Quisset Hill Road in Mendon that can accommodate 4 vehicles. Additional access can be obtained from Mendon Street in Blackstone by crossing through a parcel of the Quisset WCE. See WMA map.

Note: WMAs are intentionally wild, visitors will find natural landscapes rather than maintained trails.

Hunting opportunities

The habitat within this property supports white-tailed deer, wild turkey, and gray squirrel. The power and gas line right-of-ways provide cover for small game and other upland game species. The presence of Quissett Brook and Round Meadow Brook offer opportunities to pursue aquatic furbearers.
