School Project Designers and Owner's Project Managers Recertification

The Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) requires designers and owner’s project managers on school projects to renew their certification every three years.

Overview

To meet MSBA’s requirement for recertification, the OIG Academy has added this 1-day class. More municipalities are also requiring designers and owner’s project managers to have this certification before undertaking public construction projects within their city or town.

Class dates:

  • May 23, 2024

Class time: 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Credits: 7

Cost: $550

  • Registration closes two weeks before the class start date.
  • AIA credit eligible.

  • Recent court cases and opinions from the Office of the Attorney General
  • Changes to MSBA regulations
  • Key practices for successful MSBA collaborations
  • Contract administration required for MSBA funding, such as: change-order approval, monthly reporting to MSBA, schedule monitoring, and evaluations
