Media Contact for Former Stow Treasurer Pleads Guilty to Embezzlement

Concord, MA — On September 20, 2023, Pamela Landry appeared in Concord District Court to resolve the embezzlement case against her. The Commonwealth and the Defendant tendered a disparate plea, in which the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office recommended a guilty finding, and the defendant sought a continuation without a finding. Judge Lynn C. Brendemuehl adopted the defense’s request and continued the case without a finding for 18 months.
The plea was for the following charges:
- LARCENY OVER $250 BY SINGLE SCHEME c266 §30(1);
- FALSE CLAIM TO GOVERNMENT AGENCY c266 §67B;
- FORGERY OF CHECK c267 §1; and
- UTTER FALSE CHECK c267 §5.
The defendant was ordered to:
- Undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any follow up; and
- Not be employed in financial field or with vulnerable populations (elderly, disabled, children) or positions of public trust.
