This special issue celebrates the 25th anniversary of the OIG’s Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO) program, which began its work in 1997 to further the OIG’s mission to prevent and detect fraud, waste and abuse in the expenditure of public funds by educating public employees and others about state law requirements and best practices in public procurement.

The entire issue is devoted to the MCPPO program, including:
