The Massachusetts District Attorneys have elected Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz as MDAA’s new President.
Cruz has been the Plymouth District Attorney since November 8, 2001, when he was appointed by Governor Jane Swift to succeed former District Attorney Michael Sullivan, who became the United States Attorney in the fall of 2001. Cruz was elected District Attorney in 2002 and re-elected to a full four-year term in November 2006.
