All Massachusetts' drivers have a unique opportunity to safeguard the Commonwealth's waterways by selecting a "Preserve the Trust" environmental license plate. These are the only specialty plates that exclusively benefit the environment.

The Massachusetts Environmental Trust announced the following grants on May 28, scheduled to begin in July 2008. Total fiscal year 2009 award recommendations are for 19 projects, with an award total of $448,556.
