Legal Internship Program

Fall and Spring Semesters

The Attorney General’s Office offers legal internships for the fall and spring semesters. Legal interns are accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on the needs and requests of our individual divisions. The internship program is designed for students currently enrolled in law school. Individuals who have completed law school are not eligible for this program. Legal interns are typically assigned to a particular division within the office.

To express interest in a legal internship during the fall or spring semester, please submit a resume and cover letter stating your areas of interest and availability to the Legal Intern Coordinator at AGOLegalInterns@mass.gov. The Legal Intern Coordinator will review your application materials and forward them to appropriate divisions for their review. The divisions will determine if they are able to accommodate your request and will notify you directly if you are selected for an interview. Please note that our internship positions are unpaid.
