Welcome to Bureau of State Office Buildings

BSBs charter and mission is described in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 8. It is the specific responsibility of the Bureau to provide a safe, secure workplace/visitor destination for both employees and customers ensuring that all users of Bureau facilities have a pleasant secure, safe and healthy environment. The Bureau continues to efficiently maintain and manage State assets within budget, recognizing that they function as places of business, museums of art and history, and sites for public congregation.
Seven buildings are officially included in the domain of BSB four of which are located in the Government Center Complex in Boston: The Bureau is organized around eight functional areas: Administration, Finance; Planning & Engineering; Security, Safety & Parking; Building Operations; ADA Compliance; Event Planning and the Arts Commission.
We are here to serve you. Please call us and let us know how we can assist you.
Cordially,
Superintendent,
John Billera
