Fatal Work-related Injuries

In Massachusetts, on average, 67 workers die as a result of fatal occupational injuries each year. Information about where and how these fatal injuries occur is essential to develop effective prevention strategies. Learn about how the Fatality Assessment and Control Evaluation (FACE) the Project and Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI) address fatal injuries at work with one or two workers die every week from injuries at Massachusetts workplaces. Fatal work injuries are preventable. Information about where and how they happen can help us create safer workplaces.
