In-Home Services

Home care services are available to help older adults, people with disabilities, and people with early on-set Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia successfully age in place within Massachusetts. Services are available based on assessed needs.

The Home Care Program, including the Frail Elder Waiver, provides care management and in-home support services to help older adults, people with disabilities, and people with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementia successfully age in place within Massachusetts. Eligibility for the Home Care Program is based on age, residence, and ability to carry out daily tasks. Care management and in-home services support adults 60 years and older or residents aged under 60 with early on-set Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. Cost share amounts for supportive services through the Home Care program are determined based on income. Applicants must be living at home within Massachusetts outside of an institutional or Certified Assisting living setting.
