This 90-minute OIG Academy webinar will outline the responsibilities of a CPO and when the delegation of CPO authority must be reported to the Office of the Inspector General.
Under Chapter 30B, local jurisdictions may appoint a chief procurement officer (CPO) to oversee the procurement of a supply or service or to dispose of a supply. Learn the responsibilities of the CPO and how and when the delegation of CPO authority must be reported to the Office of the Inspector General. Also, the training will discuss the benefits and challenges of a centralized vs. a decentralized procurement process.
