To qualify for a Mass Animal Fund Voucher for your pet, you must be a low-income resident of Massachusetts. To determine low-income eligibility, we ask for information about if you are receiving state or federal assistance, such as TAFDC, SSI, VS, SNAP, WIC, Section 8, etc. If you are not receiving public assistance, you must provide income information, and you may still qualify if your household income falls 150% below the federal poverty guideline.
Please keep in mind, we often get many more applications than we have spots available. Submitting an application goes not guarantee you a spot at the clinic. All secured spots will be confirmed with owner within 2 weeks of submission.
Due to the high demand for services, if you get scheduled on a voucher day and do not show or contact us to cancel, you will not be allowed to reapply.
We are currently reviewing applications for the Franklin and Gloucester Voucher Days. Owners of selected animals will be notified over email by 9/30/2026 if they have a spot secured.

Tufts Luke and Lily Lerner Clinic (Free spay for female dogs) ongoing through 2/15/2027
Tufts Information: All participating dogs will receive their spay, a heartworm antigen test, pain medication, Elizabethan collar, and an application of Advantage II for flea control free of charge. Vaccines and microchips are low cost add ons. Dogs in this program would be spayed through their 3rd Year Surgical and Anesthesia Training Program and would be required to stay at the clinic staying from either Monday to Wednesday, or Tuesday to Thursday.
Apply for a Voucher Day through the link above. Please note Voucher Days have limited surgery spots available, and do fill up very quickly. Applicants will receive notice of application approval and confirmation if a surgery spot is available for their pet, within 1-2 business days of submission.
