Pesticide Enforcement Actions

Enforcement actions and decisions by MDAR

The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources, Pesticide Enforcement Program (“MDAR”) regulates pesticides and their uses in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts pursuant to M.G.L. c. 132B and the regulations promulgated at 333 CMR 2.00 through 14.00. MDAR performs investigations and follow ups on complaints involving pesticides. When a violation occurs, MDAR may take the following types of enforcement actions:

Letter of Warning
Administrative Order
License Suspension
License Revocation
Conditional License
Notice of Assessment (Fine)
Administrative Consent Order

The enforcement actions posted below are final enforcement decisions by MDAR. Letters of Warning or matters not deemed final (i.e., under appeal) are not included on this list. This information is for informational purposes only and applies only to MDAR’s jurisdiction related to pesticide enforcement matters. MDAR makes no representations as to any other matter, either in fact or law, about the individual or entity listed below.
