Sex Trafficking Support Services

The following organizations provide support for people impacted by sex trafficking in Massachusetts. Services vary by provider and may include case management, peer support, housing, drop-in services, crisis response, and ongoing support.

• Adelante Project

  The Adelante Project at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Brigham and Women’s Hospital provides comprehensive services to adult survivors (18+) of labor and sex trafficking. Survivors in need of care may present 24/7 at either emergency department.
• Amirah

  Amirah provides long-term exit and aftercare services to women who have experienced exploitation in the commercial sex trade through case management, housing navigation, peer mentorship, empowerment coaching, job training, and group programming. Services are available virtually statewide and in person on the North Shore. Amirah also operates a 24-month Rapid Re-Housing program with rental support for qualifying individuals.
• Eva Center

  The Eva Center provides a caring, non-judgmental space for individuals at risk of or seeking to exit the sex trade and offers ongoing exit services, information, and resources for individuals impacted by exploitation.
• Family & Community Resources: Trafficking Awareness Prevention Program

• Roxbury Youthworks

  Provides mentoring for cisgender males, cisgender females, trans, and gender expansive youth ages 11–24 who are at risk of or have experienced sexual exploitation.
• Health Imperatives

  Offers survivor-led supported housing programs for women in Southeastern Massachusetts who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation, including therapy, medical care, wellness programming, and economic empowerment services.
• My Life My Choice

  Provides survivor mentoring, intensive case management, mental health services, and group support to young people of all genders who have experienced exploitation.
• O’Connell House

  The O’Connell House is a 13-room residence providing comprehensive services to women who have been trafficked, including women who are pregnant or parenting young children.
• RFK Community Alliance

  RFK provides behavioral health services in Central Massachusetts, including virtual clinical services and lived-experience mentoring for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. Mentoring services are available in Hampden and Berkshire counties.
• RIA Inc. – ready • inspire • act

  RIA supports adults with experience in the sex trade through survivor-centered peer mentorship, clinical therapy, advocacy, case management, and financial assistance.
• Safe Exit Initiative

  Safe Exit Initiative works to create safe and sustainable exits from exploitation and the sex trade through programming, partnerships, and advocacy initiatives. Programs include Harbor, a low-barrier day center in Worcester; Jana’s Place, a residential treatment facility for female-identifying survivors with substance use and mental health needs; and The Advocacy Project, a pro bono legal clinic focused on removing barriers to exiting exploitation.
• We Rise

  We Rise supports high-risk youth, young adults, and survivors of commercial sexual exploitation through prevention, intervention, mentoring, and recovery support in partnership with community allies.
• ROCA

  ROCA provides case management, clinical support, assistance with basic needs, educational support, and job training and placement for girls and young women ages 14–24 who are confirmed or suspected victims of human trafficking. Services are available in Boston, Chelsea, Lynn, Springfield, and Holyoke.
