  • Workforce Training Fund Overview

  • General Program

    For any size company training employees in job-related skills through a program designed by the company.

    Policy Change: The waiting period between General Program Training Grants has been reduced from two years to one year.  Award recipients will now be eligible to apply for a new training grant after a one year (12 month) waiting period has elapsed.

  • Express Program

    For companies with 100 or fewer employees training employees using off-the-shelf training.
    Policy Change: The size eligibility for Express Program grant recipients has been increased from 50 employees to 100 employees.

  • Hiring Incentive Training Grant Program

    HITG assists companies in paying for training for new employees that meet certain criteria: Massachusetts residents who have been unemployed for 6 months or more; the period of unemployment is waived for Veterans (DD214 is required). We are now accepting applications for the HITG program.

  • General Program Application

    General Program applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year.  In most cases, applicants will be notified of application outcomes within 60 days from submission of a complete application.
