Recently, MassIT completely redesigned their Mass.gov website. Because our website is hosted on Mass.gov, the MSRB and most Treasury websites were also completely redesigned and are now live.

At the MSRB, we’re committed to providing you with the best online user experience we can, and to give you the answers you’re looking for as soon as possible. Updates to the new website will continue as needed. If you would like to share your feedback, please send us an email to MSRBCommunications@tre.state.ma.us.  We are very interested in receiving your feedback and look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

Important Update About the Equifax Data Breach

You may be aware that Equifax, a credit reporting company, has been in the news a lot lately due to a recent data breach. According to Equifax, after a thorough investigation, they determined that the personal information of approximately 145.5 million U.S. consumers, including up to 3 million Massachusetts residents, may have been compromised.

Am I Impacted?

Equifax has set up a website that you can visit to determine if in fact you were impacted. Visit the website and click on the button titled “Am I Impacted?” (shown below) and follow the instructions.

For consumers with additional questions, Equifax has established a dedicated call center. The phone number is 866-447-7559, and it is available every day (including weekends) from 7:00 a.m. — 1:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Massachusetts Residents

Massachusetts residents seeking more information can also visit the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office website.

Please note: The Enterprise Cybersecurity Office serves Commonwealth agencies and organizations to secure the IT infrastructure, networks, and data that state employees rely on every day. They also serve constituents to keep personal information secure and protect against cybersecurity threats.

In order to address the rapidly-evolving nature of cybersecurity dangers, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts pursues the vigorous advancement of technical and policy protection capabilities to identify and mitigate all threats to our systems.
