According to Equifax, after a thorough investigation, they determined that the personal information of approximately 145.5 million U.S. consumers, including up to 3 million Massachusetts residents, may have been compromised. Please note: The Enterprise Cybersecurity Office serves Commonwealth agencies and organizations to secure the IT infrastructure, networks, and data that state employees rely on every day. They also serve constituents to keep personal information secure and protect against cybersecurity threats. In order to address the rapidly-evolving nature of cybersecurity dangers, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts pursues the vigorous advancement of technical and policy protection capabilities to identify and mitigate all threats to our systems.
