IMERC Product Notification & Update Forms

Manufacturers of mercury-added products that are sold, offered for sale, or distributed in Massachusetts must notify the state of their product(s).  Forms are available from the Interstate Mercury Education & Recycling Clearinghouse (IMERC).

MassDEP Forms for Mercury-Added Product Manufacturers

For mercury-added products sold, offered for sale, or distributed in Massachusetts after September 30, 2008, manufacturers must file collection and recycling plans for their product(s) with the Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), implement their programs within 45 days of filing, and submit annual certifications of compliance to MassDEP.  Note: separate requirements apply to manufacturers of mercury-added lamps.
