Services at MRC Downtown Boston
Learn More About Our Services
The first step in making a referral for our services is to call our office at (617) 357-813 7 and speak to our receptionist. Walk-in referrals are also welcome. The receptionist will ask you questions including whether you have a disability and where you live. If you have a disability and live within the Downtown Boston office service area, you will speak to a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. The counselor will take down some additional information and invite you to an Orientation meeting in our office. These meetings are held weekly. During this Orientation meeting, an overview of services is given and you will have an opportunity to ask questions about the Vocational Rehabilitation process.
Any individual with a disability and a desire to work may apply for services. Our services are designed to help individuals with disabilities make informed choices about work. Our mission is to provide vocational counseling and other support services to adults with disabilities to assist in obtaining and/or retaining employment.
