News  Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council Small Grant Recipients

The MDDC has awarded small grants to three community organizations working on projects addressing needs in underserved and underrepresented communities

Please join us in congratulating the MDDC’s 3 small grant recipients for projects addressing needs in underserved and underrepresented communities:

Conexiones Latinx-MA: “EmpowerABILITY: Comprehensive Advocacy for Inclusive Lives,” to empower Latinx people with developmental disabilities and their families through comprehensive advocacy, training and resources.

MassFamilies: “The Family Spirit Program,” to support and educate indigenous tribal caregivers of loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

Vòng Tay Cha Mẹ Việt (The Circle of Vietnamese Parents): “Amplifying Voices of Vietnamese Parents of Children in Early Intervention,” to educate Vietnamese-speaking parents about E.I. and help prepare them to successfully transition their children into school systems.
