Welcome to the Bureau of Health Professions Licensure WebsiteThe Bureau of Health Professions Licensure is comprised of the Drug Control Program and ten boards of registration and certification: Dentistry, Genetic Counselors, Naturopathy, Nursing, Nursing Home Administrators, Perfusionists, Pharmacy, Physician Assistants, Respiratory Care, and Community Health Workers. These health care boards and the Drug Control Program are charged with evaluating the qualifications of applicants for licensure, registration or certification and granting licenses, registrations and certifications to those who qualify. They establish rules and regulations to ensure the integrity and competence of licensees, registrants and certified professionals and entities. The Bureau promotes public health, welfare, and safety by ensuring that licensed, registered and certified professionals and entities meet the requirements set forth by the boards.
