The Bureau of Infectious Disease strives to improve the quality of life of all Massachusetts residents through the elimination of communicable diseases. The Bureau is comprised of the Divisions of Tuberculosis Prevention and Control, Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention, Epidemiology and Immunization as well as the HIV/AIDS Surveillance and Refugee and Immigrant Health Programs.
