Personal Needs Account
MassHealth members have the right to manage their own financial affairs and the nursing facility must not require residents to deposit their personal funds with the facility. However, upon written request by a member, the facility must hold, safeguard, and manage an account for the member’s personal funds deposited with the facility as specified in 130 CMR 456.601 through 456.615. MassHealth Transportation
MassHealth provides non-emergency medical transportation for both ambulatory and non-ambulatory MassHealth members living in the community who are going to MassHealth-covered services.
