Notice: ABA Grandfathering Period Ends June 5th, 2017
Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 112, § 165 and 262 CMR 10.03(6) the grandfathering period for Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) and Licensed Assistant Behavior Analysts applications will end on June 5, 2017.
Any applications received after June 5, 2017 will be reviewed under the post grandfathering standards. All applicants wishing to become licensed under the grandfather requirements will need to apply PRIOR TO JUNE 5th, 2017. The Board will likely receive a significant increase in the applications during this time. Therefore, you are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Any applications received AFTER JUNE 5th, 2017 will be reviewed and approved to ensure compliance with 10.03 (1-5). Due to the complexities of the post grandfathering requirements, the review time may also increase after June 5th, 2017.
We encourage those who have not yet applied to do so soon, to avoid any potential delay.
