NOTICE: Proposed Regulations on the Licensure and Oversight of Allied Mental Health Professionals
The Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Service Professionals have issued proposed regulations governing the licensure and oversight of allied mental health professionals. Chapter 429 of the Acts of 2012 charged the Board with licensing and regulating applied behavior analysts (ABA) and assistant applied behavior analysts (AABA). As such, the proposed regulations establish the process and eligibility criteria for licensure and standards of practice for ABAs and AABAs. The proposed regulations also update the eligibility criteria for licensure as a licensed mental health counselor and the standards of practice for all licensed Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professionals.
