The Board of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions includes the fields of behavioral analysis, educational psychology, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, and rehabilitation counseling. The Board of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions licenses candidates who meet the requirements developed for these professions. Licensees are overseen by the board to uphold a high standard of practice that is enforceable via state law and the board’s rules and regulations.  The board protects both patients and the public through their licensure process, and this includes disciplining individuals who violate licensing standards and regulations.
