Rayna Hill

Legislative & Policy Manager

Rayna Danis (she/her) is a community organizer, policy advocate, and researcher who has a deep passion for ensuring that her work centers those with lived experience whose voices are often not reflected in public policy. Originally from the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Rayna moved to Boston in January of 2020, and graduated in May of 2022 with a dual-graduate degree in Public Policy and Gender & Cultural Studies. Her research focuses on intersectional social policy advancement at the local and state levels, with a specific interest in public health, reproductive rights, education, and economic welfare.

As a youth, Rayna volunteered with her local PFLAG organization for several years where she learned the impact of community connections and perseverance, as well as the importance of creating brave spaces for LGBTQ+ youth in conservative areas. Since moving to Massachusetts, Rayna has had the pleasure of working with the Getting to Zero Coalition, Pop-Up Pride, GLAD, Fenway Health; and so many passionate advocates, educators, and legislators working to make Massachusetts a safer place for youth.

In her limited free time, Rayna is usually found exploring New England's amazing hiking trails with her dog and partner, or is cuddled up with her cat while playing Skyrim or creating new Dungeons & Dragons characters just for fun.
