Public Hearing Notice  Hearing Regarding Prescription Advantage Regulations

Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30A § 2 and M.G.L. c. 19A § 6, a public hearing will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2019, from  10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the McCormack Building, One Ashburton Place, 5^th Floor, Boston, MA, 02108, regarding:

651 CMR 15.00: Prescription Advantage Regulations

EOEA is mandated under M.G.L. c. 19A, § 39 to administer a subsidized catastrophic prescription drug insurance program designed to provide eligible persons with prescription drug coverage. Anticipated changes to the MassHealth MSP program (also known as the “MassHealth Buy-in”), scheduled to take effect January 1, 2020, necessitated minor changes to the regulations regarding the application and redetermination processes for Prescription Advantage (PA) Members. In accordance with the changes, prospective Members of PA will be required to apply for other programs that may provide more appropriate services for those who are eligible.  Written testimony and public comment from interested parties may also be submitted. All written submissions must include the sender’s full name and address and be submitted to the following address:
