Discussion of proposed MCAD Commissioners Meeting Policy Question - 02: The MCAD hereafter accepts requests to support immigration-related prosecutorial discretion in the form of deferred action for individuals who may be victims or witnesses to unlawful discrimination in the workplace. The MCAD authorizes the Office of the General Counsel to review, approve, and manage such requests in keeping with the guidance from the Department of Homeland Security, which may result in the issuance of a Statement of Interest by the General Counsel. MCAD complainants or witnesses must file any such request to the MCAD with the Clerk of the Commission.
