Report Fraud, Waste, or Abuse of Public Transportation or Transit Funds or Property - Online Form

Use this form to confidentially report suspected wrongdoing in the expenditure of transportation and transit funds or property to the OIG's Internal Special Audit Unit (ISAU) which oversees MassDOT and the MBTA.

You can also call our 24-hour confidential hotline number at (855) 963-2580 or email us at MassDOTFraudHotline@mass.gov. While you can make an anonymous complaint, please consider providing your name and contact information to allow us to follow up if necessary. In many cases, we will need to follow up with a complainant in order to complete a full review of the complaint. 

By law, all OIG records – including your tips and complaints – are confidential and are not subject to Massachusetts public records law. Your name will not be disclosed without your written consent or unless you check on the box below authorizing the OIG to share your name and contact information.
