Licenses that have been expired for more than 2 years must be reinstated.
Licenses can be reactivated after renewal up until the next expiration. Learn how to renew a real estate license.
Reinstatement forms
Reinstate an individual real estate license
You will need:
- License number
- License expiration date
- Social Security number
Reinstate a real estate business license
You will need:
- Business License Number
- License expiration date
- Broker of Record name
- Broker of Record license number
- Broker of Record Social Security number
- Notary-confirmed identification (Passport, state-issued driver's license, military ID, state-issued ID card)
Reinstate a real estate school license
You will need:
- School license number
- School license expiration date
- Owner name
- Authorized representative name
- Owner Social Security number
- Notary-confirmed identification (Passport, state-issued driver's license. military ID, state-issued ID card)
Reactivation form

You will need:
- Name
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address
- License number and type
