What you need

Licenses are available for renewal 90 days before their expiration date. 

To renew a real estate or salesperson license, you need to complete 12 hours of continuing education. View Licensed real estate schools in Massachusetts to find a school near you. You will also be required to upload a notarized CORI authorization form.

During a renewal year, your license needs to be renewed on your birthday. 

Business and school licenses must be renewed every 2 years.

How to renew

  • Applications, renewals, and reinstatements must be submitted online through the eLIPSE portal.
  • You will be asked to submit all required documents via the eLIPSE platform and will be notified of any required next steps.
  • Payment will also be made via the eLIPSE platform.
