PITTSFIELDA North Adams man was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on firearm and drug charges. 34 year old JOSHUA A. LUCZYNSKI appeared before Judge John Agostini.

LUCZYNSKI had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense), one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE (2nd offense), one (1) count of ARMED CAREER FELON, one (1) count of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN and one (1) count of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN. Judge Agostini ordered that he be held at the Berkshire County House of Correction on $ 7,500 bail.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant on Murray Avenue in North Adams on September 28, 2017.

The investigation was conducted by members of the North Adams Police Department, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
