Acquisition of Property for the Springfield Justice Center

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, acting by and through its Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) on behalf of the Massachusetts Trial Court, has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit sale and gift offers from owners of parcels to build a new Justice Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Springfield Justice Center RFP Information

Pursuant to Section XI.E. of the Request for Proposals to Sell Property to the Commonwealth for the Massachusetts Trial Court, the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance is exercising its right to withdraw this RFP.  Instead of purchasing a parcel of land and constructing a state-owned Justice Center, the Commonwealth will solicit proposals from private developers for a long-term lease (through a new competitive RFP) to either build a new facility or renovate an existing building for this purpose. The new RFP is anticipated to be released Spring 2025.
