Limited Scope Investment Consulting Services
The Belmont Retirement Board is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide limited scope investment consulting services pertaining to investment performance monitoring, measurement and evaluation. The Belmont Retirement System maintains approximately $200 Million in assets, which are invested substantially in in the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Trust (PRIT), and in four (4) real estate, private equity and private debt investment funds.
The purpose of this process is to identify a consultant whose expertise will meet the Retirement Board’s goals and needs in a cost efficient manner. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Competitive proposals are invited in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 32, section 23B. The Board’s current investment consultant is expected to participate.
The selected firm must have familiarity with, and agree to comply with Chapter 32 of the Massachusetts General Laws and applicable investment regulations promulgated by the Public Employees Retirement Administration Commission (PERAC), at 840 Code of Massachusetts Regulations (CMR), including submission of disclosures and certification documents as required by PERAC.

Proposals must be submitted by email only and must be received by close of business on December 22, 2025.
