Benefits Counseling

Benefits Counseling is a part of the Statewide Employment Services (SES) programs which provide support to help people with severe disabilities choose, get, and maintain a career.

Below you will find more information on Benefits Counseling and contact information.

What is Benefits Counseling?

MassAbility's Statewide Employment Services provide personal benefit counseling to people who get Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and/or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and are employed or looking for a job. This can help individuals with disabilities understand what may happen when they go to work or increase earnings.

We provide benefits counseling in Essex, Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Nantucket, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Suffolk Counties. If you live in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex, or Worcester Counties, contact Work Without Limits, a program of ForHealth Consulting, the health care consulting division of UMass Chan Medical School. Learn more at workwithoutlimits.org.
