Independent Financial Audit Services

The Bristol County Retirement Board is seeking proposals from certified public accounting firms to provide audit services which includes, but is not limited to, the auditing of the Bristol County Retirement Systems (BCRS) annual financial statements in accordance with accepted audit standards, compliance with the rules and accounting manual of PERAC and Chapter 32 of MGL and GASB 67/68. The Board administers the defined benefits pension system for 40 member units, including towns, authorities and districts throughout Bristol County.  The system has approximately $960 million in assets and approximately 7,575 active, inactive and retired members. 

The request for proposal will be available on July 22, 2025.

Completed RFP must be received no later than September 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. (EST).

The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
