The Bristol County Retirement Board is seeking proposals from qualified firms or actuaries with experience consulting with public defined benefit pension plans to provide actuarial services consistent with M.G.L. Chapter 32, CMR840 and GASB standards. The Board administers the defined benefits pension system for 40 member units, including towns, authorities and districts throughout Bristol County.  The system has approximately $960 million in assets and approximately 7,400 active and retired members.  Said services will include conducting actuarial valuations of the System, developing appropriate funding schedules, preparing appropriate GASB reports and advising the Board regarding matters which impact the System.    

The request for proposal will be available on July 22, 2025.
Completed RFP must be received no later than September 3, 2025 at noon (EST).
The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
