About the Site

The Division Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) is exploring reuse opportunities for a housing-anchored redevelopment of the Charles F. Hurley and Erich Lindemann Buildings. In an effort to transform this 5.5 acre s in the West End of Boston, the Healey-Driscoll Administration intends to embark on a competitive disposition process to increase housing; reimagine and activate the plaza to better integrate with the surrounding neighborhood; deliver an upgraded space for the Department of Mental Health’s residential program (located within the Lindemann building); and incorporate mixed-use commercial development.
