Collaborative Workspace Program

The Collaborative Workspace Program supports collaborative workspaces and makerspaces that encourage new business formation, job creation, and entrepreneurial activity in communities.

The Collaborative Workspace Program supports community-based organizations seeking funds to advance local innovation. Eligible applicants can apply for Seed Grants for pre-development and feasibility work, or Fit-out Grants for building improvements and equipment purchases. Funds are administered by MassDevelopment.

Funding

The Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development (HED) and MassDevelopment support adding to the 118 Massachusetts communities that have at least one innovation space, program or organization.
