Responsibilities
The unit administers and manages programs, policies, and procedures in the following areas:
- Human Resources
- Fiscal and Budget
- Facilities
- Equipment and Fleet Management
- Contracts and Records Management
- Other support functions
Administration staff work in partnership with all other RMS units and facilitate relationships with other MassDOT sections to ensure operations run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly. In addition, Administration supports the Director of RMS with:
- Managing and achieving strategic goals
- Analyzing and improving business practices
- Evaluating the performance of staff and operations
