About the Series
During this course, participants will learn skills that will assist them in pursuing their individual goals towards competitive/integrated employment and independence. Classes are taught by a self-advocate peer trainer. At the completion of the program, participants will be recognized at a virtual graduation ceremony with their family and supporters invited. Graduates will receive a Certificate of Achievement from the MDDC and business cards to use in their job searches following the course.

- Class 10 – Final Presentation & Virtual Graduation
Series Expectations
- Be Prepared – Join Zoom sessions early and complete all assignments prior to each class. Assignments must be completed to receive credit for participation.
- Participate Actively – Engage fully in discussions and activities.
- Keep Camera On – Cameras must remain on during virtual sessions; otherwise, the absence will be recorded.
- Meet Attendance Requirements – Four (4) absences will result in the certificate not being awarded.
- Respect Others – Maintain professionalism and courtesy toward all participants and facilitators.
- Provide Contact Info – Share personal contact details for future communication.
- Complete Post-Series Survey – Submit the final survey at the end of the program.
