Notice of Public Hearing - City of Quincy

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (“DCAMM”) hereby gives notice that, pursuant to Section 37 of Chapter 7C of the Massachusetts General Laws, a public hearing will be conducted to disclose the conditions and reasons for the proposed purchase of 9,359 ± square feet of real property located at 6-10 Mayor McGrath Highway in Quincy, Massachusetts (the “Property”).

The Property is owned by the City of Quincy and is currently used for general municipal purposes. As a result of the analysis in the Massachusetts Courts Capital Master Plan conducted in 2017, the Quincy District Court was identified for replacement. The Property abuts the Commonwealth owned Quincy District Court located at 50 Dennis Ryan Parkway. The property will be acquired by the Commonwealth on behalf of Trial Court and be incorporated into the new Quincy Justice Center development.

The hearing shall be conducted in person on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in Great Hall, Quincy City Hall, 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, Massachusetts.
