Updated monthly (1/1/2024)

  • 5,905 total males in the jurisdiction population: 5,490 criminally sentenced, 15 pre-trial detainees, and 400 civil commitments 
  • Average age of inmate was 44 years old (youngest inmate was 17 years old and oldest inmate was 89 years old)
  • 97% were serving a sentence of more than three years 
  • 77% had a violent governing offense 
  • 295 were serving a governing mandatory drug sentence

  • The 2017 three-year recidivism rate was 29% for the total male population

  • Average age of inmate was 42 years old (youngest inmate was 19 years old and oldest inmate was 79 years old) 
  • 90% were serving a sentence of more than three years 
  • 70% had a violent governing offense 
  • 16 were serving a governing mandatory drug sentence
