Privacy policy for DPPC apps

When you use a DPPC mobile application, the application will not allow any data that could be used to identify you to be shared with DPPC or third parties. Any information that you enter into the application, such as a name, phone number, address, image, or music, cannot be accessed, stored, or shared by DPPC.

DPPC mobile applications do collect anonymous information about how people use the application, such as which operating system the device is using, the device model, and information about the device’s memory and hard drive. This information is used only to improve how the application works, such as correcting technical issues. DPPC does not collect information that would identify you or your device. The information collected cannot be linked to any personal information about you and will never be shared with a third party. DPPC also uses software analysis tools to identify and prevent problems with the application. However, DPPC mobile applications will never share personal or identifying information with any of the vendors of these tools.

These applications are not intended to replace professional care.  If you are in distress, please seek help from others.

In using a DPPC mobile application, it is your responsibility to protect any information in the application once it is installed on your device.

Terms of use and end user license agreement

  • The Licensed Software is owned by DPPC. The Licensed Software is licensed, not sold, only according to these Terms and EULA. Acceptance and installation of the software constitutes your acceptance of the Terms and EULA.
  • Upon installation of the Licensed Software, you will acquire the right to use the Licensed Software, directly from DPPC. You assume responsibility for the selection of the device on which the Licensed Software is installed, and for the installation, use, and results obtained from the Licensed Software.
  • DPPC and you acknowledge that this EULA is between DPPC and you only, and not with Apple, Samsung, and/or Google. DPPC is solely responsible for the Licensed Software and its content.
  • In consideration of your acceptance of these Terms, DPPC grants you a non-exclusive license to use the Licensed Software. You are not licensed to rent, lease, transfer, or distribute the Licensed Software.
  • Title to the Licensed Software, including media and documentation, remains with DPPC. You may not copy, reproduce or make data transmissions, in whole or in part, except as is necessary for backup or archival purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, translate, disassemble, or decompile the Licensed Software or create similar software in whole or in part.
  • The license is effective upon acceptance and installation of the Licensed Software and shall continue until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the Licensed Software. DPPC has the right to terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with any of its terms and conditions. Upon termination of this EULA you shall stop all use of the Licensed Software and uninstall the Licensed Software.
  • This Licensed Software is distributed AS IS, in the hope that it will be useful, but without any warranty; without even the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • In no event will DPPC be liable for any damages, including those for loss of data, loss of use, or indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages in any way related to or arising out of the use of the Licensed Software, whether based upon warranty, contract, or otherwise, whether or not injury was sustained by persons or property or otherwise, and whether or not loss was sustained from, or arose out of, use of the Licensed Software. You agree to waive any and all claims against the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, DPPC, its contractors, and/or their subcontractors, and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, DPPC, its contractors, and their subcontractors for any damage you may incur from your use of the Licensed Software.
  • DPPC shall be neither liable nor responsible for any maintenance or updating of the provided Licensed Software, nor for correction of any errors in the Licensed Software.
  • This agreement shall be construed and enforced in accordance with Massachusetts state and applicable federal law and each party agrees to be subject to those relevant laws for all purposes.
  • It is understood and acknowledged that DPPC has the absolute right to obtain injunctive relief to protect DPPC’s proprietary rights.
  • By using the Licensed Software, you further agree that this is the complete and exclusive statement of the EULA which supersedes any proposal or prior agreement oral or written, and any other communications relating to the subject matter of this EULA.
  • If any provision of this EULA is held to be invalid or unenforceable the remaining provisions will not be affected.
  • For statistical purposes, DPPC collects anonymous usage data and sends it to a data provider.
  • Privacy notice: No individually identifiable data is transferred or transmitted to DPPC or another third party through use of the Licensed Software. All individually identifiable data entered by you remains your sole property and will not be accessed by DPPC. You acknowledge that it is your sole responsibility to protect and otherwise secure any information captured and stored by the software once installed on your device.
